Since its inception in 2003, Animo has moved quickly to establish the Bokeo Nature Reserve as the most dynamic and innovative protected area in Laos.
In 2004 Animo opened its first project, The Gibbon Experience, bringing guests into Bokeo Reserve in a low impact manner to reduce environmental pollution.
This project has been enthusiastically welcomed by the local population, who has participated in its planning, implementation, and operation.
